Bill Anderson is a general systems architect, engineer and educator with experience in all aspects of product development from strategy through deployment. As a consultant he has mentored teams in participatory methods for user-experience research, product innovation, and requirements discovery. His approach is empirical and focused on measuring results and learning from experience. He has worked in small companies and large corporations in telecom, pharmaceutical, and document systems industries and with non-profits and international science NGOs. Bill’s experience includes work with Pennwalt Pharmaceuticals, Computer Consoles (later Northern Telecom), Xerox Corporation, PitneyBowes, The Texas Center for Digital Knowledge, the Interpublic Group, and several start-ups. He is on the faculty of the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin.
Bill was an early adopter of many social media technologies and practices, and presented on the social aspects of social media at SXSW 2006 and at Innotech 2007.
