Dave Evans is author of Social Media Marketing: An Hour a Day,the best selling guide to implement and measure social media for marketing. Building on that approach, Dave listens for a client’s business communications needs; evaluates client operations, marketing, and management processes; and then develops with the client an effective, measured approach to their use of social media to achieve business goals.
He has extensive advertising experience creating integrated communications strategy in work with GSD&M and its clients like Southwest Airlines, AARP, Wal-Mart, PGA TOUR, Dial, and Chili’s. Prior to advertising and marketing, Dave worked with Progressive Insurance Company as a Product Manager, and as a Systems Analyst for the Voyager deep space exploration program with NASA/JPL. In 2009 he designed and led the American Marketing Association’s 2-day seminar series titled, “Social Media Marketing.”
