Fixing Twitter
John Adams (yes, descended from that John Adams) is Twitter’s new Operations Engineer, beginning July 7. His job: fix it. Anyone who uses Twitter has struggled with Twitter’s scaling issues as it’s grown insanely popular. It’s really a killer app, and adoption has been scaling fast. Hoping Adams will be up to the challenge. He sounds confident. He’s a chat geek with IRC running through his veins, so he should be a good fit.
